Psychologist and psychotherapist in Irvine, California for over 20 years.

I have been helping clients in Irvine and throughout Orange County utilizing my combined 30 years of experience in psychology and nursing. Here's how psychotherapy can benefit you:

Psychotherapy is a very special endeavor with potential for positive changes and a decrease in discomfort. I see the therapeutic relationship formed in psychotherapy as a vehicle for that change. Prior to my more than 20 years practicing as a Clinical Psychologist, I worked 10 years as a family nurse practitioner. My expertise in these combined fields places me in a unique position to understand the mind/body connection. I bring a unique perspective to my work particularly in the areas of women's health issues, transitions in life for both men and women, postpartum depression, stress reduction and coping with chronic medical illnesses. Additionally, I am a member of the Resolve: National Infertility Association, helping clients who suffer from fertility issues.

I also have extensive experience working with people with depression, anxiety, panic disorders, obsessive compulsive disorders, somatization disorder and eating disorders. Another area important to me is to help people who have physical symptoms not explained by the medical community.

My extensive experience also includes executive stress and burn-out. I work well with adolescents, and adults of all ages. I do family therapy and couples therapy and work with couples in regards to post-affair issues.
